As I browsed the Internet, I became more soundly convinced that it is a dark place. I didn’t see much dark stuff, because I refused to expose my eyegate, my eargate and my heartgate to them. I did observe how many Islamic people sought to interpret the Bible. I will say this and this is a fact: they cannot know the mysteries…not yet.
I was brought back to a conversation with a Muslim friend who did not understand a particular part of the bible. I was thankful for the conversation which allowed me to understand why Muslims don’t actually understand the Bible.
It’s not limited to that group, for example, I knew of a Jehovah’s Witness who thought that Christians should be anti-Jewish. ” Where did that come from?” I wondered. Am I saying that all” Muslims don’t understand the Bible? Well, I don’t know all Muslims, but I haven’t met any that do. Quoting the bible doesn’t mean that you understand it. A lot of people have “big trouble” with that one.
I’ll explain it. If you read the bible and take it literally, you’ll easily walk away with a literal translation. If you read it and read it and study and meditate; you can receive the “Rhema” word from God and understand what the greater message is.
A great example is the crucifixion of Christ…a lot of people walk away saying “The Jews Killed Him!”
Those who study the word don’t need much Rhema to know that it was intended that way and Satan thought he had control and that he had orchestrated the whole thing. The bible says:
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
a wisdom which not one of the leaders of the present age possesses, for if they had possessed it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Corinthians 2: 7, 8
It’s rare that I even engage in a quasi political/spiritual treatise because I am confident of who I am in Christ. However, I am giving background for a special point.
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
TO GIVE A ILLUSTRATION…I compare the failure of people to understand the mysteries of the bible to INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE. As you know, Indiana Jones was searching for the Holy Grail and he found it after much adventure and death. However, in the end; he could not take it with him, it was of no use to him. It had been the elusive mystery and even after he found it; it still remained a mystery.
P.S. If you don’t understand this…well I guess it’s a mystery. Smile. I pray the following for you:
EPHESIANS 1: 15-23
