Are you in “Faith Shape?” by Elaine Davenport (Wednesday, October 24, 2007)

I had to go up some stairs today.  It was at 6 am.  Now admittedly, I went to bed late and woke up early; so I was sluggish somewhat.  I went up those steps  like a breeze; I wasn’t out of breath.  I recall a time when I could not say that.  I made up my mind to stay in shape for a variety of reasons including those steps.

You have to do the same thing with your faith.  You’re a boxer and you’re in training for a big fight.  You have an opponent who plans to fight you.  In fact, he may be doing it now.  So you have to be prepared.    Faith comes in various sizes.  Everyone’s faith is not the same.  The more Word you get; the more faith you get.

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.  Matthew 17: 20(NKJV)
