*Your faith walk…or your ability to walk by faith (blindly of yourself; but trusting God) is going to be critical to you in 2008…

The fact of the matter is that it already is right now. But, since we all seem to “retool” ourselves spiritually at the beginning of each new year…we start to examine everything but we often forget about focusing on the lessons that we learned and begin to make honest declarations and decisions not to repeat them. This is ever so important. It doesn’t take a lot of words to convey it. As you consider the message that God has for you in 2008; examine your faith walk from years past and lessons learned. As a result; make some action plans, put them in force and move into God’s Divine purpose! Blessings

Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.

There is one scripture that has really really helped me and this is it. When the enemy afflicted me some years ago in a major way, God had to teach me about faith. Every time something happens; it’s our opportunity to sit back and learn from it.

Let’s say that you have to take a big test at school. You never miss class, you study, you do your homework, you’re prepared and you find that there is no need to worry, so you’re calm…you go in and take the test and do well. What lesson did you learn? You learned to be prepared. That’s easy.

BUT WHAT IF YOU’RE NOT PREPARED?

That’s a good question. Let’s say it’s the same class, same test and for whatever reason you are not prepared. This is what I’d do: I’d pray and if it was necessary, I’d repent and I would cast ALL of my worries on God…knowing that He cares about me. Whew! What a load off of my shoulders. I’m so glad that God has it! HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU JESUS!

I’ve thought about this and meditated upon it and here’s an observation. At the root of many prayer requests is fear. Fear has to be overcome.
