Praise & Meditate! by Elaine Davenport Thursday, June 12, 2008

This time of year, I always attend our church Convention, so that’s where I am this week. We have services around the clock for 4 days and it is wonderful. During that time, it’s Blessed to do more Praising God, more meditating on God’s Word, more studying God’s Word and more reflecting on God’s plan as well as fellowshipping with old and new friends.

It’s a wonderful time to have and build our “God focus.” You know I love standing in line to get in and meeting people from all over the world! We pray, praise and share testimonies! It’s so wonderful! God is so good…and that’s not a “catch phrase.” Most people think we say that just to say it, but we don’t. You don’t hear anyone in the world saying that, not even other faiths! But Christians say it and mean it…because we have a heavenly FAther who LOVES US so much that He sent His only son to die to save us all! It’s a free gift…but you can’t get it unless you accept it. It’s called Salvation. More Here

However Blessed it is…I’ve learned to make a more conscientious effort to do this when there isn’t a convention. To that end…there are real changes coming soon. I pray that it will be a Blessing to you. All the best and see you on Saturday!
