And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:9 NKJV)
Little children, let us not love [merely] in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth (in practice and in sincerity). 1 John 3: 18
It’s good to have a prayer life. It’s so good!
I just want to encourage you if you’re reading this right now. You have the opportunity to sow seed. That’s a kingdom right, a kingdom privilege. Perhaps, there is a neighbor that needs you to run an errand or needs you to say a prayer for them or a word of encouragement. Maybe, it might be the grocery store clerk that just needs a smile. Maybe, you might write a letter to cheer up a family member. Perhaps, you might take blankets to a homeless shelter. You know…you don’t have to be a celebrity to take toys to a Children’s hospital wing.
We can all do so much more than we do. When you hear that a friend, co worker or fellow church member lost a job for whatever reason; think hard and long about how you can help and then do something. Every little and big thing that you do can help. Begin to pray for them. Perhaps, you aren’t given to long prayers…that’s okay; just pray a short prayer. But the best prayer is the one that is prayed. Not, the one that is never prayed or almost prayed.
Today’s a great day to shower those around us and those that we encounter with love and caring. A little love and attention can go a long way.
YOU BECOME A SPECIALIST
Make up your mind to become a specialist. Specialize in helping other. Despite your problems, your life will be enriched and it will be life changing your you. Trust God to lead you down the right path.
Sometimes people need a meal, a bag of groceries and it is my prayer today that you will let God use you to be a Blessing to someone.
Let God use you today to pray for someone next door or in a far away land or at the bus stop…but let God use you. Sow a seed of goodness for someone else. And just watch…just watch how God honors that seed that you’ve sown into the life of another.
