Is Having Faith Easy? by Elaine Davenport Wednesday April 15, 2009

Matthew 21: 21 says:

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

I’ve often heard the word mountain become interchanged to mean “problem.”  Once I got that picture…this scripture made a lot more sense to me.

That said, is having faith easy?  Well, to answer that question we have to define faith…again.

Hebrews 11: 1 says:

1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

That’s amazing! Here we have the bible; the core of the believers authority saying:  You can’t see the thing that you’re believing for…it isn’t available to you yet…that’s why you’re believing for it…

THAT’S PART ONE…To make faith easy to have…we all must get this…but PART TWO is where many of us get in trouble…

PART TWO

Part Two is very short and very simple…listen up:

3 words:  “We can’t wait!”

We must be patient.   If we can learn to:  rest, wait, trust God and stay in faith … knowing …that God always comes through for believers…faith is easy.

SEE THE PICTURE BELOW:  THAT MOUNTAIN KEEPS CHANGING COLORS…THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A PROBLEM…AND BEFORE YOU KNEW ABOUT IT…GOD DID!  That my friend…is a fact.
