Wisdom in Prayer (Session 7) February 19-26, 2010

Wisdom Scriptures to meditate upon

(This is a wonderful site!)

There is a Spirit of Wisdom!

There is no person in human form that knows all of the answers.  We cannot look to another human for our answers.  We can only look to God.

So that is why it is always good to start a prayer with this scripture:

James 1: 5

**  Make up your mind today, that if you’re going to be a prayer intercessor, you’re going to have to  ask God for wisdom…ONE TIME  but THANK HIM all of the time.     My pastor ministered on this yesterday!   This really Blessed me because I was doing it wrong! Don’t freelance.   Don’t break off on your own.  It’s easy to do.  I’ve done it a couple of times…and it’s ugly.  Please don’t do it.  Keep your flesh under subjection and do it in all humility.

I guarantee you that no two prayer requests are the same.  I also guarantee you that you will never know the whole story.  In most cases it might get in your way so that’s probably a Blessing.  Simply follow the Spirit.  That is absolutely positively what you must do.

If it sounds like I’m being brash or over confident; I am not.  I am God’s humble servant and that’s who He can use.

To be a prayer intercessor, you will have to be available.  You will have to spend hours writing prayer and reading and understanding the word of God.

Often you may be contacted by people who want counseling.  Unless you are licensed; don’t do it.  Point them to the Word of God, talk about the Word, pray for them.  That’s why they contacted you.  LIsten and listen well, but respond in prayer.

You may run across people who are extremely troubled, but it is not for you to judge…just pray.

One of the most unselfish and compassionate acts of love is to pray for others.  In doing so, you are pushing your problems aside; trusting God.

I am thankful for your heart.  Wisdom dictates that along with prayers you will exhort people to give thanks and to praise God.  That is how their breakthroughs will come.

I once had someone tell me that God never answers their prayers; in fact, they insisted.  Then they told me that they had unforgiveness in their hearts and they refused to let it go.  Within 4 years of their saying  those word; they lost so much…I will not discuss it.

Sometimes even beyond the prayer requests that we receive we must continue to pray for the people.  God needs our prayers to move in peoples lives.

If you really want to use wisdom; please…start a prayer group…that alone will train you.  But, ask God to draw by His Spirit.   That is key.

1.  Ask God how He wants you to handle this.

2. Meditate in the Word daily
3.  Step up your Prayer life.

4. Start a prayer group

5.  Pray the Prayer of Jabez daily

6.  Be consistent

7.  Don’t quit.

8.  Remember this is for the strong, not the weak.

9.  Going into the bible will give you light!   Tell people….

11. READ JOSHUA 1: 8 :

Joshua 1:8 (Amplified Bible)

8This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good [a]success.

I am a born again believer. I am a Prayer Intercessor, writer, wife, mom, sold out for God lady! I believe that Jesus heals. I also believe that many people need faith information and prayer and this site will offer this.
