10 Power Scriptures on Salvation by E. Davenport, December 11, 2016

Salvation is not for sale.   It’s a free gift that God gives.  No man can give it to you and you cannot earn it by being good.  It’s not just for church members.  It is for everyone who will accept Jesus as the Lord and Master of their life; acknowledging that He is the Son of God, who gave his life for us and died for our sins, rose again and lives to forever intercede for us at the right hand of the Father.  Oh, if you can grab ahold of this…you will break loose of anything holding you back.    Wow!
1. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  Romans 3: 23
2. Romans 3:10 NKJV  – As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;
3. Romans 5:12  Consider this: sin entered our world through one man, Adam; and through sin, death followed in hot pursuit. Death spread rapidly to infect all people on the earth as they engaged in sin.
4. For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
5. Romans 5:8 NKJV  – But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

6. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, Romans 8: 38

7. 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8: 39

 8. Romans 10:9-10 NKJV  – that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

 9. Romans 10:13 NKJV  – For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
 10. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.  Acts 2: 21

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  Mark 16: 16

Selah.  Pause…and think about it.
