A balloon is an inflatable object fueled by air. You knew that? lol If the air leaks out; the balloon loses it’s worth so to speak. Our prayer lives are fueled by our communing with God and without that occurrence; we are literally close to an impasse. Simple right? So, why won’t anyone take God at His word? Prayer changes things. Ask anyone who has prayed and they will tell you. The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. It tells us to always pray.
There used to be a survey that said that 90% of Americans believe in the power of prayer. So, I think a lot of people who think prayer warriors or intercessors are nuts or fanatics; but are they wise? That answer would be yes. You see, we face a constant attack from the enemy of our souls who will do anything to kill us, steal from us, destroy us, stop us, hinder us, bring bad news and the like. He never stops, so we never stops. Take for instance an NBA challenge. What if one team ran and played hard and the other team did the minimum? Who would win? You tell me. The prayer life is like a balloon, because without air being added to it, that balloon is flat and without life and a flat prayer life will haunt a person rather quickly. With the air, it can float, travel, create an atmosphere, bring a sense of decorum, it can do a lot more than when it’s in flat pancake mode.
A prayer life without the activity of communing with God is dead has no ability to do what it was designed to do; that is to bring the power, peace, Wisdom, solution and Divine purpose of God on the scene. Keep that air in that Balloon that represents your Prayer life. Jesus prayed as much as po
