There is no other faith that talks about a Savior with a Virgin birth. It is not only unparalleled; but it’s safe to say that people from other faiths don’t believe it. So, the question is WHY? Why would anyone be overly concerned about Mary being a Virgin and giving birth to Jesus? Well, that’s easy enough; it never happens. I explain it easily. It was a one time only life altering event. If the father of Jesus was a human and we already know that his mother was human; then how could he be the Son of God? If Jesus was 100% human, then he could easily be the prophet that the Muslim faith and The Jehovah Witness faith says that he is. The Virgin birth is the key to Jesus being the Son of God. That would make the devil mad; because it reminds him that we know that we have Eternal Life through Jesus Christ and that the Bible is truth.
The devil has fought tooth and nail to get people to dismiss the idea of God. Ask any Atheist. Well, that isn’t a fair statement or a courteous one since I doubt that an atheist would be open to the idea that “anti” God thoughts were actually suggestions from demonic beings. The average Atheist is a White male, around thirty-four years of age, 43% of this group holds a college degree; a slightly higher percentage than the general population. Do not be surprised that some 8% of Atheists actually believe in God or a universal spirit. I could go on but there is nothing significant about them as a group. There are schools of thoughts that say that “most” atheists consider themselves a religion. To know much more than conventional wisdom; I’d have to be willing to go undercover to see what I could pick up. That’s not gonna happen.
So when Christmas rolls around, everybody comes out of the closet. I’ve met Muslims who celebrate Christmas and I have spoken to people in other Groups who are softened to the commercial side of Christmas; silently consenting to it all; in a way. The Christian faith is the target of many dissenting beliefs and these other belief systems truly understand how strong the tenets of the Christian faith is. The focus of Christians on the birth of Christ or the foundational tenets of the faith is a frustrating thing for anything or anyone that wants to draw people away from their core beliefs (Christians) . You see, when the Miracle Season comes in; the supernatural kicks in and people get a re-boot so to speak, and this really ticks the devil off! Too bad.
