Every day in my email; I get some wonderful mail from friends. I can’t say which are my favorites; but I always get surprises! I read every single email. Every single one without question arrives at the perfect moment. Today, I received a great message from my Pastor where he explained in detail the importance of walking in God’s Love. It was amazing because he seemed to be telling the reader how important it is to stay in God’s presence.

The average person doesn’t even know how to do that and it’s okay. I didn’t either; but after the devil started whooping up on me, I vowed…YES…I vowed to do that for the rest of my life.

I never lie to myself, nor do I procrastinate when it comes to things that are important to me. (Okay, I try really really hard) I mean really important to me.

He seemed to be saying…be consistent in pursuing God and it is in that pursuit that we’ll find our peace, safety, comfort, protection, instructions and answers.

HELP WANTED:

You need a job. You go on the interview and everything that you say they like. They hire you on the spot! You get the job. It pays $5,000.00 a day. There’s a puzzle that you must solve and there are other people being paid to pursue the answer too. The person who cracks the case gets a bonus beyond their wildest dreams. They tell you that ideally you should get to know him; but it’s your decision. All you have to do is follow this man and report back on everything he does and says. You may have to do a little research to understand him better. You may or may not have experience doing this. You can work your own hours. You can take off any day or week that you can, but on the day that you do; you might miss the most important part. You’re on your own. Will you make the best of it. It’s mental, it’s physical and it’s verbal. It’s a fact, that winners not only believe they’ll win; but they say they will. Whether you believe it or not; death and life are…in the power of the tongue.

COMPARE THIS STORY TO PURSUING GOD:

God ordained a path for you to achieve personal success before you were born. It is your destiny. However, a lot of people never fulfill their destiny. I guess that’s why so many people live their lives through their children, their neighbors, celebrities. Make up your mind today to pursue God and to give it your all like it’s that television show: The Amazing Race. Get a persistence in your heart. Fix your eyes on the best way that you can please God. Spend more time praying; not just on Sundays or when you have an emergency. Sit quiet in a room and tune your ears in to God’s small voice that comes on the inside of you. Forgive and Love and don’t stop either one. Throw away thoughts of anger or jealousy. Take the high road! Speak out positive faith filled words. Profess what your future will be. Don’t give voice to bad thoughts. Be consistent and remember…halfway Won’t Do.

Better than the “job” above; God wants to have a relationship with you. He says: Whatever you need, I’ve got it. Cast all your worries on me. I will give you unmerited favor. You are righteous to me. You’re already healed. Don’t be afraid. I sent My son to save you. I forgive you. I love you. Your children are Blessed. I’ll protect you. I care for you. I’ll be your rear guard. I’ll send angels out before you to prosper your way. I’ll straighten out the crooked stuff. Be patient, while I work things out for you. Don’t be afraid. Sleep soundly in quiet rest. Have peace. I’ll strengthen you heart. I came for you to have the abundant life. I’ll make your enemies be at peace with you. I want you to have good health. I want you to prosper. Be watchful. Be vigilant. There’s a lion walking around that wants to devour you.

SOUNDS LIKE LOVE TO ME.
